WANT TO JOIN THE BARRIER ISLAND TEAM?
Want to teach at the beach? St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center is seeking passionate, Christian teachers for our Barrier Island Environmental Education Program! BI is in partnership with the Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina and is located on Seabrook Island, about 25 miles from Charleston.
The BI program is in an area that lends itself to show the diversity of ecosystems in the Lowcountry. These areas include nearly a mile of beach, acres of salt marsh and undisturbed maritime forest, including ponds and freshwater swamp.

August 15, 2023 – May 10, 2024

Educate students in grades K-12 in environmental-based classes on beach, salt marsh, and maritime forest ecosystems.
